Visuals and gameplay
Visually the game is colourful with several different coloured and shaped almost cartoonish jewels over 7 reels with just a solitary payline. It is certainly an attractive layout and the colours are not so bright that they distract or become annoying, which is great as you’ll probably be playing this for some time.
The game gives you the chance to work your way through different worlds and has a similar feel to the popular smartphone game Candy Crush Saga, and it comes with a whole host of bonus features too.
Before you start you will need to select your stake, and the minimum bet is $/€/£0.50 per spin rising to a maximum bet of $/€/£100, so there is plenty of scope there for the casual and serious gambler. The Return to Player ratio is well within the industry average at 96.75%, and the maximum amount you can win is 100,000 times your stake.
The game has three worlds for you to play through, and each one has its own wild symbol, with the first world giving you a maximum of 10 Miners Lamp symbols that will be added to the grid. The second world wild symbol is a Lollipop, and in world three you will receive up to 8 Spell Book Sticky Wilds that will be added to the grid and fixed in place if there are any matches to be made.
The levels are filled with matching gems, which appear on top of the patterns you will see underneath, and there is also a World Bonus that will increase a bit with every win you get. You will collect this amount as you progress to the next world, but the faster you progress the lower the bonus will be and vice-versa.
The Nova Blast charge makes one of the gems explode which in turn destroys all the adjacent symbols. A Crystal Warp will select one symbol at random and other symbols will be transformed to match it. Light Beam will select one symbol at random and blast it with a ray of light that will transform those around it on the horizontal and vertical to match it.
