This is the sequel to NetEnt’s popular game Divine Fortune, and is the third game from NetEnt to use the Megaways game mechanic. Upon starting the game, players will be greeted with large Greek statues on either side of the reels, with the various symbols also being related to Greek mythology. This game has six reels with 117,649 paylines, while the number of symbols in play changes with every spin, with 2 to 7 symbols landing on each reel.

The betting range is from $/€/£0.10 up to $/€/£100 per spin, with wins being generated on both sides of the payline i.e. from both left to right and right to left.

Symbols

As mentioned earlier, the symbols are all based on ancient Greek mythology. The standard card royal symbols form the low-paying icons, while the high-paying icons are the Griffin, Minotaur, Nemean Lion and Medusa herself. Medusa is the most valuable symbol, paying out 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x and 5x of your stake for landing two, three, four, five or six on a payline respectively. Medusa is the only symbol which can deliver wins for just two matching symbols on the reels. A Pegasus is the game’s Wild symbol, with a hand holding a lightning bolt as the Scatter.

Divine Fortune Megaways Bonuses

While the original game featured progressive jackpots, that is not the case here. However, there are quite a few bonuses available to perk up your wins if you are lucky enough to trigger them. The first of these is the Falling Wilds Respins feature, which is triggered if you land a Pegasus on the reels. Once all the wins are paid out from this spin, all the Wilds on the reels will drop by one position on the grid for a respin. This will continue until there are no more spaces for the Wilds to fall, increasing the chances of having multiple winning combinations on a single spin. If you manage to land another Pegasus on top of a Wild during the respin, this will create a Stacked Wild, with the round continuing as before, awarding respins till there is no more space on the grid. This is the Wild on Wild feature.

The Free Spins round is triggered by landing at least four of the Scatters. Here, you will receive 10, 15 or 20 free spins, depending on whether you landed four, five or six Scatters respectively. The Wild on Wild feature will be applicable in this round, while there will also be bronze, silver and gold coins, where collecting five identical coins will give you a reward of 10x, 25x or 500x of your stake respectively.
