Mega Spins Break Da Bank Slot Game Review

Mega Spins Break Da Bank is a sequel to the highly popular Break Da Bank game from Microgaming, and if the popularity of the original was anything to go by, this is yet another hit from these developers that should be a must-try for slot gaming fans.

Background, Visuals

Microgaming has certainly improved on the original in terms of visuals and overall experience, with 3D graphics and animations that really make this game stand out from its peers. The theme of the game is that of a bank heist, in line with that of the original, and the various symbols and the entire in-game design is based on this theme. There is a dark purple background to the reels, with some of the symbols being repeated from its predecessor as well as with some unique icons to keep fans entertained and coming back for more.

Gameplay

This is a game with 5 reels, 3 rows and 9 paylines. Players land wins by landing matching symbols in combinations of three or more across a payline, and there are 10 symbols on the reels in total, divided into low and high paying icons. The betting range for the game is from $/€/£0.01 up to $/€/£22.50 per spin – thus, this is quite a suitable game for low rollers and those wanting to conserve their money at first.

Players can use the Gamble feature to potentially increase their wins. After every win, you will have the option to play this feature, where you will need to correctly guess the colour of a face-down card to double your win. Guess the suit correctly and your win will be quadrupled, but any incorrect guess will result in your win being forfeited and this feature ends.

Symbols

Of the ten symbols on the reels, the lower value icons are the standard card royals from 10-A, while the themed high-value icons include stacks of coins, cheques, dollar bills, gold bars and a bright purple gemstone. Needless to say that these symbols are all based on the game’s theme of a bank vault that you are trying to get into, and so it is appropriate that these are the symbols that will pay out the most in the game. For example, landing five of the purple gems will give you a prize of 166x of your stake, while even the lowest of these icons, the stacks of coins, will pay out 22x for a combination of five. The game logo is the Wild symbol, and substitutes for all other symbols, except the Scatter, which is safe, and any win that the Wild is part of gets an additional 5x boost.

Bonuses

Landing at least three of the Scatters will trigger the Free Spins round – 3, 4 or 5 Scatters will give you 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins, respectively, and every win in this round has a 5x multiplier attached to it, which makes this a very rewarding round. The Wild multiplier is active as well, so wins with a Wild as part of the combination will be subject to a whopping 25x multiplier during this round. The round can be extended as well, with every Scatter that lands during this round adding one more spin to your total.

Mega Spins Break Da Bank RTP

This is a medium volatility game with a hit rate of around 25%, and an RTP of 95.43%
