Gold Factory Game Review

Everybody knows that gold comes out of the ground, it’s difficult and dangerous to dig up and there’s not much of it in the world, which is why it’s so rare. Wouldn’t it be easier if you could just make it in a factory-like soap or bicycles? Thanks to Gold Factory, you can!

Help an eccentric inventor and his hopeless assistant perfect his Gold Factory and receive a cut of the profits, but beware, the machinery looks a bit dodgy at best! Can Gold Factory make you rich, or is it just a hunk of junk? Let’s find out in our Gold Factory slot game review.

Background

The Gold Factory slot game is a great looking slot that makes good use of its graphics and its theme and is a real delight to watch and play. The background to the reels is a steampunk fantasy, with all kinds of pipes, girders and gears scattered around the place all plated in solid gold. The steampunk aesthetic is everywhere in this game, from the mad inventor and his Victorian outfit to the collection of clockwork and steam-powered dirigibles, submarines and trains that make up the high-value symbols on the reels. All the symbols are unique, and also include the inventor and his assistant, while there are piles of coins and stacks of bars to be seen too. Even more enthralling, the game is richly animated, and every win sees trains steaming, airships soaring or machines clanking and whirring to the peppy, happy soundtrack.

As with many slots these days you’ll live and die by the bonus rounds where most of the money is to be made, though this slot does manage to bring a hefty 50 pay lines to the table along with its five reels and three rows. There is also a nice high betting limit of £/€/$100 so that it’s easy to take advantage of those big payouts if you’re brave enough, while the payouts are no laughing matter, with a maximum of 10,000x your wager to be won in the main game with five scatters in a row and a total RTP topping 96.54%. The gold coin scatters also serve to open the Gold Factory Bonus Round, where the maximum prize is a massive 61,900x your stake, so you’ll want to get inside as soon as possible!

Bonuses

The bonus rounds in Gold Factory consist of a multi-level pick and win feature set in a boiler room, in which you must pick four out of the 12 symbols present to gather prizes. There’s much more to it than that, however, because you may also find free spins or reactor bonus symbols which activate separate bonus rounds. Find the free spins symbol and receive up to 35 free spins at random with a 2x multiplier, or find the reactor bonus symbol to be admitted into the reactor room. Here you can pick as many symbols as you like to reveal prizes until you find a malfunction symbol, which kicks you back to the boiler room to finish any unused picks. It goes without saying that all these games put together have the potential to be massively rewarding, and are great fun too!
