The Bridesmaids slot game was created by the excellent team at Microgaming. The game was introduced to the market back in August 2015, and is seen as one of their better machines.
As with the majority of Microgaming slots, there is a clean and simple look to the design of the interface. The graphics are fantastic and the sounds very much on point. Bridesmaids can be played across all desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
Gameplay
Bridesmaids is based on the 2011 movie of the same name. If you haven’t seen that particular film it is a comedy which brings the story of Annie and the rest of the bridesmaids as they prepare to see their friend Lillian get married. That storyline has been built into a slot game. Bridesmaids has five reels with 40 paylines in all.
There is a slight difference in the typical lower paying icons for this game. That is instead of the value of the cards being in the game it is the symbols for the suits of the cards. The better paying icons include the main characters from the film – Annie, Becca, Helen, Megan and Rita. The Wild icon is the Bridesmaids logo and the flowery cupcake is the Scatter icon.
Bonus Features
There is just the one feature in the Bridesmaids slot game but it is a pretty absorbing one. To activate the Wheel Bonus feature you need three or more of that flowery cupcake Scatter icon to land anywhere across the reels. When this happens you will move to a new screen which contains four different cakes and a Wheel of Fortune. You then pick one of the cakes to receive a multiplier and then spin the wheel.
You can win from six bonuses in this part of the game. There is the Friendship Free Spins, which gives you 10 free spins in which the various characters get stacked on certain reels. Lillian is an extra Wild here. The Flying High Free Spins bonus also gives you 10 free spins along with Rolling Reels where winning combinations explode and more symbols drop onto the reels, potentially giving up more wins. The Boutique Bonus offers you 12 boxes. You keep picking until you find a matching pair and receive that prize. The Magic Moments Bonus is where you pick from 10 photos to reveal prizes. You keep picking until you reveal the ‘I’m Sorry’ photo. The Jackpot is where you win a large cash prize, the size of which is based on the number of Scatters that started the feature and the Multiplier gives you a certain multiplier towards your bet.

Microgaming are very good at taking the film themes and turning them into very good video slots and they have done that again with the Bridesmaids offering. The feature on the game is excellent and can provide some decent wins depending on which bonus you get, and the graphics and the storyline is very good, especially if you are a fan of the Bridesmaids movie. Even if you have not seen the film, or don’t like it if you have, there is plenty to like about this slot.
