It’s time to pick a side in the great cosmic battle between Heaven and Hell because there is a lot of cash up for grabs and such a lot of fun to be had winning it!
Archangel’s Salvation doesn’t mind whether you choose to help the angel or demon, and either side could see you landing stacks of wilds on the colossal reels, the important thing is that you spin well to activate one of several bonus features and walk away with the cash. So is playing this game heaven or hell? Let’s find out in our Archangel’s Salvation review.
This game isn’t subtle, so don’t be surprised when you’re faced with a glowing, angry angel on one side of the reels and a fiery demon on the other. The background to the reels has the same theme, and the world behind each character matches their side, with an icy landscape for the angel and a volcanic hellscape for the demon. While the backgrounds are spectacular we can’t really say the same for the symbols, which are pretty small and simple, though there are 72 of them so perhaps we can’t exactly blame Archangel’s Salvation for that. At least they’re original and match the theme, with hoods, lions, helmets, shields and horns joining card suit symbols on the reels.
You won’t have seen many games with this many symbols before, and the massive wall of symbols that Archangel’s Salvation brings to the table look amazing at first sight. There are six reels and 12 rows to play on, while there are also 100 pay lines, and just playing with that many symbols is a rush at first. You can bet as much as £/€/$200 on every spin, while you can expect a decent RTP of 96.08% from this game, though the best payouts aren’t to be had from the main symbols. Your best option is to rely on the amazing wilds feature, Heaven & Hell, which thrusts you straight into the middle of the battle. Land one of the Lion wild symbols in one of the flaming boxes on the screen, top or bottom, and you’ll activate either the Heaven or Hell power which grants you different options. Hell gives you between 8 and 16 wilds, while heaven gives you up to four fully stacked wilds 12 symbols high on the reels.
That’s a pretty decent set of bonuses, so you might be ok with just the Heaven & Hell feature on its own, but you’ll be pleased to know there is also a free-spins feature on top. This is pretty simple, activated by landing three or more scatters for up to 25 spins, during which time you can still play the Heaven & Hell feature and the flaming boxes are increased in size to make activating them easier.
The Archangel’s Salvation slot game is different and unique enough that you should play this game just to see it, but there are also some great wins to be had taking advantage of the amazing wilds feature that can see you grabbing dozens of them at once. It’s never been harder to choose between angels and demons!
